Yes I have. I asked the dealer and once again was told a characteristic of the car. I really like my maxima, but alot of the little things are starting to get annoying.

Mine does it also, but not very violently. I think it is normal. The accord I had before also did the same thing.

Gee... when I said that I was experiencing a lil' window rattle over 70 mph, my dealer just gave me the "couldn't reproduce problem"... They're apparently not allowed to drive 70mph with YOUR car... go figure..

I have a feeling your gonna have a LOT OF FUN trying to prove to them that it DOES happen, that it's a valid problem, and that it should be replaced under warrenty..

-Tom

Quick Fix : Drive slower... OR NOT!!!!

maybe it needs to be tightened

i haven't actually noticed it ( i dont really use that mirror, please dont criticize me ) but since it does pivot, maybe its a little loose and can some how be tightened, this might make it hard to move, but oh well.

All dealers are full of crap! The worst with this (the "Can't REproduce crap") is Ford.

The driver's side mirror on my SE 2001 maxima shakes like crazy above 60 mph, i had the dealer replace it with minimal improvement, they tightened some screws, but it still vibrates....any other thoughts

thanks

I've never noticed any vibration. Some of us have different mirrors than each other, though. Don't the GLE/GXE mirrors have a black bottom half with body-color paint on the top half? SE? I don't know. I know the AE has solid body color...I imagine this is just a matter of the out shell, but who knows.

Re: WIndow closing

Yup, i had squeaky windows... fixed under warranty (they had to replace all of the innards... greasing it didn't work, and the problem came back a week later)..

side mirror shake

I have a 2k2 SE and I have not seen this problem. I travel at 85+ fairly often and would have seen this happening. Of course the road quality can make a big difference and the roads I travel are in good shape.

No problem for me

I checked on my way home, yesterday evening, and I didnt notice any vibration (other than hood fluttering, but that's another case...)..

I have a 2k1 GXE with convenience package (heated mirrors)....
