Look, I like the Jetta as much as the next guy, hell I even considered one before the Max. But believe me, at a drag strip, there are plenty of folks who think your barely-a-12 second Jetta is a real race car.
Just as you look down at the ricer with the 18 second Civic, the guy with the 9 second Camaro looks down on you. Just a fact of life.

I happen to think the VW Jetta is a sweet *** car.. and much better looking than my crack pot Maxima rear end (why does my bumperlook like its smiling at me??)

ok to answer the 20 questions,
first my car weighs 2950 with no one in it.2 times 1.8=3.6. what does the maxima have 3.6 almost 2 times the engine i do. I have a stock k03 sport turbo that could fit in the housing of a t/4!Who cares about navigation?its not gonna get my cay any faster? I have never raced a 6 spd. THe maxima is 255 hp!3.5L SE! I have a 01 jetta that came stock with 150 Hp! Not 180! Im sure that the 9 secs and 10 sec cars see me as slow yea well so do i!Compared to them. If u had a 9 sec car what would make u mad seeing people trying to make there cars fast doing 12,13,14 or seeing someone there bored and running 16,17,18?I give credit to those who try! Next time i race the maxima i will have a pass in my car and i will pull more than i did in that first vid w/o spray or radials! My last time was a month or 2 ago:

jettas are girl cars. when my friend got a 1.8t, every hott girl came up to him and goes: "i want one of those". when girls see me in my max, they say nice car. ill be in ft. lauderdale this weekend, but im auto, so no go.

Something sounds fishy here IMO. Look at the times that 1.8Ts are running on VWVortex with the stock turbo and basic mods, I believe they are in the mid-high 14s last time i checked. This guy is running the 150HP engine too. I dont believe his car runs 12s on with just a 40 shot.

i believe the maxima lost the race fair and square but i dont believe the jetta ran a 12.9
there is something not right about a 3000 lb, sub 200 hp car running 12s. sr20den's car only weighs about 300 lbs more and has 100+ more horsepower and he ran a 12.9 with slicks.

He got a little out of hand that is why, ok so your fully modded Jetta beat a stocker Max, not that impressive.
Then he knocks people running their cars at the track. When someone mods their Durango to the point it's running high 15's damn straight we want to run it at the track.
Then to mention he beats old men, that slowly roll threw their gears and never tach above 4,000rpm in Z28's is just ludacris. My buddy has a modded LT1 Z28 and we almost always take my Max, I get sick of my head snapping back and the damn exhaust drone gets annoying.
