rear window wind noise TSB

I've been reading the board ever since I bought my '02 maxima. I just decided to register today. Could someone please give me information about the rear window wind noise TSB.
Thanks in advance for responses.

Look at the top of this forum page and you will see a permanent catagory called "Technical Service Bulletins inside...". Inside you will find nearly all current TSB's.
Here is the link to the one you are looking for:

Get it done! I was amazed how much quieter the car was after I insisted the dealer order the parts and install them.

Problem is, this TSB doesn't seem to apply to the '02. Has anyone had it done for their 02? Also, does anyone have any advice on the "bottom out" TSB? How often does the car have to bottom out for this TSB to apply?

Mine's at the dealership as we speak getting it done...as well as a brand new tranny and clutch disc but oh well, at least I'll have a new tranny to break in . I'll get back to you on the difference it makes but I'm not getting my car back 'till Wednesday so I'll be in a rental this weekend .

Yes, it does... I had mine done two days ago, mine is also a 2002. It did fix the problem for my car. It is much quieter, wind noise is minimal now..

I have had this done on my '02 and it does quiet it down. But check the window run to see if it deforms some time down the road. It will look like the stripping is coming loose from the window run. I have had this happen to me twice and they have replaced it.

I walked in there and said, "Hey my clutch is messing up (making a 'howling' sound) and my tranny's feeling weird (grinding third consistently no matter HOW I shifted), could you check it out? Oh by the way, there's a lot of wind noise coming in from the back, is there something you can do to 'bout that?"

yeah, good call.. i've got a list of complaints.. for one, my SES light has been on for like 10,000 miles and when i had it checked by jeff @ mt he said it was something with the cat.. and also my driver side window squeeks like crazy when its going up.. plus this tsb now.. man i'm gonna have a field day in there
