need some help with the SES light

Lemme describe the situation first:
-Injen CAI went in on Sunday the 13th, drove 200 miles on it with no problems
-Today while on the freeway at 75mph, SES light comes on
-Engine was running fine, finished the 50 mile home with no problem

Now here is what I did so far:
-Retightened the gas cap cause I fill her up before the drive home
-I went to this site: http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/ecu.html but the ECU for my 2k1 does not have the caution signs and the selector screw, only the bar code at the end of it.

Can anyone help me out? Thanks alot in advance.

go to your local Autozone ( www.autozone.com ) and they will find out what's wrong for you for free.

...

My guess is an air leak somewhere on the intake since it took awhile to show up, so double check and tighten all your hose clamps. Also, make sure no vacuum hoses came off. Try Autozone for the DTC and see if they can reset the MIL. Otherwise, leave the negative battery terminal disconnected overnight to reset the MIL, however if the problem still exists it will come back.

The pictured ECU is from a 4th gen., but 5th/5+ gens don't have a diagnostic screw as you found out.

If your into modding your car you should buy an OBD software such as www.obd-2.com .
