Should I replace the PCV?

I have an '01 SE with an AT. I believe that I have a PCV because some after market books list it but Nissan doesn't mention it in the maintenance guide. How often should I change it? Thanks.

I clean mine every 30k and replace at 60k. I use Valvolene Syn power Carb and Throttle Bowl Cleaner. It is safe for oxygen sensors. Also the plastic straw is designed to avoid it accidently coming off and blowing into the intake manifold. Only cost a few $$ at parts store.

take it out and test if it's still good. if it's good then there is no need to replace it.
