How to put on touchup paint

I sure by now everyone knows of the paint chip problems with the Max's. I have a 2002 Max (grey lustre) and I have a couple of chips on my hood. I bought touchup paint from the dealer and I was wondering whats the best process on how to apply it.

any info would be much appreciated

Thanks

I was once taught to use a cardboard match. Tear the match out of the book, and cut the tail (not the part that gets lit) on an angle. Then drop some paint on the match and lightly touch it to the chip. This prevents brush marks from the crappy brush included with the touch-up. I've only had 50% success with this method, so no guarantees!

order the paint pens instead of the bottles and or get a lanka kit form www.lanka.com the kit will remove the excess plaint blobs and you won't notice the chips were there.

I just applied the paint with a toothpick and match end (not the strike end) and used rubbing compound. Cant tell its there. Gotta do it again though
