Nope... waiting until I get another case of "mod itch" first. Please tell us how it performs (butt-dyno). TIA!

Do you know if they make a High Flow Cat for the 2K Maxima? If so where can I get one?

Im installing a Radom Technology Maxima 1999 Cat to my Y2K Max. the only diference is that the diameter of this cat is 2 1/2 in.diamter and my Stillen YPipe dia. is 2 3/4 , according to Stillen this 1/4 in. is no problem since the Random Cat has a higher flow than the stock one, Im still skeptical about this but I have to check the new ET's at the strip to see if it makes any better. Any bets?

you can get universal ones if they dont make any specificaly for the 2k. just match up the diameters. check nopi or summit racing. i think that random technology has universal ones also.

99 to 2k

Is the 99 Random a direct bolt in for the 2K Maxima or is it a universal. I have the Federal emissions Max. If it is a 2K specific, do you have a part number?

I couldn't get a chance to answer your question, but looks like Pepo did the job for me.

There is a gain b/t stock and RT cat

I prototyped a 3" cat on my 96 Maxima and got 6hp and 17ft-lbs of torque. Check the following link for more details: http://www.geocities.com/jgadlage/dyno.html

Thump, I think it's a universal Cat but is High Flow, anyway it fits.It is a 12 1/2 in. long, two bolts flange - 2 1/2 dia., The stock cat is 12 1/2 in. long two bolts flange but 2 3/4 dia.The stock Cat is 1/4 inch biger in diameter but with less flow. I dont know if this restriction could make any diference.
The part num. is Radom Cat 822530 for Maxima/99 , they dont have for Max.Y2K , Tel.(770)554-4242 ,they are in Georgia and I talked to Clay. If you decide to order one make sure to order the instalation kit that includes the bolts and gaskets.
