Nissan is too cheap to make a new commercial for the 02. It's a cost cutting measure, kinda like thier 02 & 03 Maxima's, they seem to have cut some corners! Just my opinion

A commercial like that costs anywhere from $25,000-$100,000 to create. Would you rather they make a new commercial and roll those costs into the price of your car just to show off those taillights?
Or would you like to save an extra $100 on the MSRP of your vehicle?

Remember the 5th gen is a lame duck right now. Manufacturers do not dump promotion money into lame ducks. Wait until the new max comes out, then you will be slammed with ads.

It's because the tail lights liik nicer on the 2k and 2k1.

Btw, cost cutting? Puhleaze. Whatshischuck, right here on this board can photoshop pretty much anything. (Very cool). Anyway, you're trying to tell me that Nissan can't figure a way to recycle the old commercial and integrate the minor design differences in the cars? C'mon.
