Try posting this thread in the appropriate "Generation" under The Maxima Discussion Links......

But to answer your question, is this for a 3rd, 4th, or 5th Gen????

Get a shop rag, or washclosh; and a small flathead screwdriver.

Put the shop rag up against finish and pop the front lamps out from the rear. Do the same to the rear ones, but they pop out from the side that faces the front of the car.

Study the clear corners and you will see what I mean, the stock ones are mechanically identical. Use the rag to keep from damaging the bumper finish.

You will need to buy lamps for the rear ones. I highly suggest using LEDs if you want them to be deep red. Regular bulbs are just pink and typically lose thier deepness over time.

Good luck, and welcome to the .org!

Which reminds me of one thing I forgot. Using the silicone is important. Over time the seals will break down and harden, after that they are virtually useless. Just putting a little silicone around them helps greatly and it's not a permanent bond; it's very easy to take off.

Definitely use some clear silicone on allthe sidemarkers. Put it around the seal. This will prevent moisture. I've had my clears on now for over a yr with no moisture problems whatsoever..
