volunteer firefighter, a large crowbar, 2k2 hood

just like it sounds... a woman in a civic cut off a 2k2 Max less than 2 months old. The Max t-boned the civic. His horn was stuck on and my friend's captain told him to get the horn shut off. He said the only way to get the hood up was to take a 10 pound prybar and spear it right though the hood, then pry the hood off, sardine-can style.

He said it was beyond repair so it didn't matter, but he did say that since he loves my car, he went over to the owner and told him "I'm really sorry I have to do this" then walked back to the car and impaled it.

He's got pictures, I'll see if he can get them to me and I'll edit/update if/when I get them.

I suppose pulling the fuse was out of the questions?

I think I would cry if I saw somebody stick a cowbar into my hood

I didn't say it was BS. Is the fuse block under the hood? I didn't think it was.

Just think, that Max's horn must've been "screaming in pain" when it T-boned the civic. Then to have someone come over and spear it through the hood with a crowbar......makes ya think about how they use to end a horse's life back in the wild west when it broke one of its legs.

he said the hood was already trash, and he is a volunteer so he's a little gung-ho... they usually take pictures at the crash scene (the fire dept does, for their end-of-year bash) so I'll check if he has a copy of him putting the horn out of it's misery.

I would of much rather put the crowbar in the hood of the civic. One for being a honda and two for destroying the Max.
