Deep Dish Rims
Deep Dish Rims
I've been told that deep dish rims such as the cr2000, which are made for european cars, do not fit the maxima b/c they are for rear wheel drive cars. Is that true? My bad if I'm asking a stupid question, but I'm really feelin those rims & I have no idea whether they would go on a max. Feedback is appreiciated!
There are wheels with lips that will fit a maxima, even though it is FWD. The SSR GT3's have a nice lip, and will fit a maxima. Check out ORG member Gunmax , he has some nice Multipiece Volks with a nice lip too...
Some wheels are for RWD only they usually have what is called a "low disk" you can use a spacer to make up for the disk clearance. But also note that the centerbore can be wrong as well. Usually the wheel vendors can help select a wheel that will fit your car. If you do select a wheel that is not the proper fitment don't be suprised if you get strange vibrations or some other ill effect to your vehicle even if they are the correct offset, proper fitment is more than just the offset of the wheel.
