Any experience with Falken ZIEX ZE-512?

Here's another tire question for everybody. Has anybody had any experience with the Falken ZIEX ZE-512? I just found out that they carry size 225/50-17. My stock Bridgestones are almost ready for replacing and the Michelins are just a little too costly.

Here is what they look like: http://www.vulcantire.com/ze512_t.htm

I think it's a sport truck tire.

No, they're not a sport truck tire. Falken makes 2 kinds of tires in this size. The ZIEX ZE 512s are the car tires. I bought some from tires.com last week. $145 a piece. They're still sitting in my garage. I haven't had time to get them mounted yet. I'll keep you posted.

I had the 255 version ZIEX on my '97 Thunderbird Sport, and I thought they were the worst tires I have ever owned. On the other hand, Michelin Pilot Sports are among some of the best tires I have used to date.

I have known of allot of people that made the mistake of buying Falken tires and they all stated they are horrible. Mainly the rubber isn't sticky at all in the rain or on a normal dry road, and all of them stated that the road noise was really bad. I myself have never bought a set of Falken tires and I doubt I ever will. I did hear however that they were trying to improve the rubber compounds.
