almost killed my gf the other day....

 

I recently beat a 2001 IS300. I've beat others but not all of them knew the whole time that we were gonna race, just the IS.

 

My recent victory was a 5th gen Accord 4cyl auto coupe

 

i beat an is300 the other day. Raced up to 90 or so on a 40 street. Was kinda ****ting my pants cuz i already have one big accident and a 90mph speeding ticket.. Dont think ill race again for a while =/.

Is a 2k1 Stock Gxe Auto on 16's Supposed to beat the Is? Nebody got any past experiences or any idea?

The thing is my 2k1 Stock Gxe is now Riding on 18's with 2 Jl Audo 12's W3's in the back. ( Im sure that adds some weight) I think i beat him im not 100 percent sure.

I was going on baldwin between lower azuza and baldwin and i notice that same blue is next to me. I look in his driver side window and notice that it is some scrawny cantonese looking 19 yr old spoiled brat(yes im assuming) I had my front windows down (didnt know i was gonna race him till we both punched it) We started at about around 25mph and then we punched it. At first i was Pulling ahead i think through first and second gear (not sure cuz im an auto and i stil lhad my windows down..forgot at the time) I was up by about a half a car length - 3/4 a car length. We then hit like 60-70 in about third gear id say he pulls ahead by half- 3/4 a car length. At that pt i hit overdrive and i start rolling up my front windows ( race ended with my driver side window up because of the auto window close if u click it up.. and the right front window about 3/4 up.) and I get up to about 83-88 and im up about 1-2 car lengths and still pulling. Im checking my right side mirror and thats how i know im still pulling. At that pt when i flash my hazards id say im about going close to 90 and still pulling. Immediately after that i break to like 50 cuz i realized im going 88-90mph on a 40 street. (Baldwin Ave) Then he pulls a ricer fly by on me. Im pretty damn sure id say i won.

Forgot to mention when i pull back at about 90mph .. In his lane is some old car and we are approaching it fast so im thinking ok i won. Forget it. He then proceeds with his ricer fly by and switches to my lane and goes like 30mph with that old car. Im hi beaming him and he wont let me pass left and right. At this pt im still hi beaming on and off trying to get by this *** for the hell of it. We go on for about a 10 more seconds and then we hit las tunas and baldwin. We are on the left lane. (two lanes going up towards baldwin and last tunas. we are driving on baldwin.) He then switches over outta the blue like i think his tires squeaked. It looked like one of those emergency manuevers to avoid an accident. he ends up crossing two lanes and makes a hard right onto last tunas. At that pt im thinking " haha ******* is scared of me." prolly cuz i had my 2 subs thumping and my windows are tinted so he didnt know how i looked like and didnt want trouble. I know races are just races, but sometimes it feels like u never know if after a race if anything like bad (a fight) is gonna happen. Or some trouble is gonna start because of the race. Ok my bad for the hella long post. So do you guys think i won or lost?

 

Your car has more hp and weighs less than an IS300 so....yes.

 

i Checked edmunds my car 2k1 weights 3186 and lets add the 2 12s in the subbox. im sure dats pretty damn heavy. Is that like 50-100 lbs.

Is is 3270. So im guessing out weight is pretty similar. And i saw the guys size and im sure i weigh at least 10-15 lbs more than him. So overall id say our cars are basically Equal weight wise.

Then u put into play yes i have 222hp which is 7 more than the Is300, but im on 18's and hes on stock 17's. So im guessing i have a bit more weight there. So if you think about it Why should i Win over him? and then u put into play that hes rwd and im fwd. not sure if that makes a difference. But based on all those things im surprised i won. Ne1 can give me a better reason than its just the weight? Are our cars geared better or something or what is it?

About a month ago I took my favorite road to work. It is a twisty one-lane road with 25mph speedlimit. As usual, I drove 40-45mph. I concentrated my attention on possible hidden vehicles and people. But... the squirrel was too small for me to notice. It decided to cross when I was a few yards away. I avoided it with my front wheels, but still heard "bang" from the rear. My mistake was that I took a look back through a rearview mirror. It spoiled my day. I drive slower there since then.
Does it count as a kill for this thread?
