Widdest rubber without rubbing...

Hey guys, I am wondering what is the widdest tire wheel combo in 18" we can get on a 2K1 max without rubbing, I would like to get some 18" x 8.5 with 255 or 265 in the 45 series, is there anyone running that size with a dropped suspension, let me know what you think, any feedback from owners of such set-up will be greatly appreciate.

Cheers

That aspect doesn't bother me, I already have 235-40-17 which throw the speedo -5,6%, the 255-40-18 would be .7% off and the 265-40-18 at 1.9%.

Hey UMD_MaxSE, then I guess the question is what offset doesn't rub in 18 x 8.5

I think you will need at least a 38 or 40 offset... depending on how much you are lowered and what tire you choose....

I'm running on 245/45/17 with 17 by 7.5 Radius (Moda) R6 wheels. rear tires barely clear. anything wider would be rubbing

That is because of your offset, I just check your Moda R6 ( nice wheel ) your tire are probably close to rub but from the inside of the wheel. I'm shure with the proper offset 255 should clear.

Thanks for input.
