while I was shopping for the 330i I test drove the 2001 S4, the audi salesman told me that his S4 was pumping out 300hp+ with just chip, intake, and exhaust AND he informed me that the chip does NOT affect the audi warranty. I was extremely tempted at the time to purchase the S4 since it was running the same price as the 330i, but the test drive did it for me, the bimmer just handled a lot better, the audi seemed soft and "buicky" in comparison.

I've also got a WRX in the household, which my brother drives, he always gets at least 3+ car lengths on me whenever we race right off the line. Really hard to make up. ****es me off sometimes cause he's only pushing maybe 165HP to the wheels, whereas I'm getting at least 200+, but traction is everything.

yeah i know what u mean, but the only thing id really be worried about if launching a wrx or the s4 (most any AWD car for the matter) is the fact that sooner or later ur gonna bend and axle, aftermarket 1z are out there, only prob is the price for each is a good $800+
At this moment im only holding on to 1 car and that the max. i paid basically half of it off at purchase so my payments are basically nothing. im just focusing on the business and once tat get goin ill worry about more cars.

Faster out of the box than a current S4, but not nearly the potential (gotta love factory boosted cars ) It's gonna be the same sitaution as if toyota puts a N/A V8 in the new supra. The enthusiasts will hate that.. You should get the best of both worlds and get an RS6.. then you get a boosted V8

Hnaging with M3 is a joke

Hey I'm sorry guys I am a big maxima fan.Got a 02 Auto Max with intake and exhaust on it and my boy got a 98 M3. We raced on a 1/4 mile and he had me by about 1.5 cars. M3 are no joke. Oh yeah and his is manual. I tried racing him on a highway once and once he pops that that baby in 3rd he was gone. if you kept up with him than his was definitely auto. Hope this helps
