Before anyone sacrifices you to the dogs for not searching. I will say that quite a few people have after market alarms. I have one. I have a two way lcd pager system made by Autopage.

I like this one cause it has autostart and the extra security of the lcd pager.

Which manfacture makes a remote start that will work with a 5 speed? I've heard some mfrs make one that will know if your car is in gear and won't start it if it is. Does any body know the mfr/model #?

Actually alot of them can work with a 5spd, it is just the wiring. And simple relays. Only issue is getting the installer to do it, some of them dont even want to touch it.

I realize that any alarm can be wired to work with a five speed, but aren't there a few models that are designed to actually work with them? I thought Clifford or somebody else made one that would know if your car was in gear and wouldn't start it if it was.
