Can some one give me quick advice on buying tires?

I need tires really bad and I have a small amount of money. What is the difference between the more expensive $295 per tire Yokohamas and the $162 Kumhos? I don't race my car or anything. Is it needed to buy ZRs with the 18 inch wheel or will WRs be fine enough.
Also is there anything needed to be done when I put on the tires, like some kind of a balancing?

Okay now. Is there any difference between the cheap tires and the more expensive ones since they both are ZR tires. Do the cheap ones pop easier or fall apart quicker?

im not a tire expert or anything but $165 tires arent "cheap" tires really. they are less expensive than some other tiresbut they are in no way "cheap". you wont have to worry about an unexpected blow out or anything. there are plenty of tires out there that cost waaaaay less than $165. those are the ones that you might have to worry about.

if you dont need high performance tires and money is an issue i recommend that you go with the Kumhos.
