Key for trunk???
Key for trunk???
I bought my 2k GXE used so it came with one key and remote fob. I always used the fob or the remote trunk release to open the trunk. The other day when I installed my CD changer in the trunk, I disconnected the battery so when I needed to open the trunk, I tried to use the key. Guess what? it didn't fit at all. I had to connect the battery back to open the trunk. I asked one of the Nissan dealer close to my house and they told me that the trunk doesn't have a seperate key. Anybody runs into this problem. May be my trunk lid is not the original one. What a bumper.... How would I get a key made for the trunk lib just in case? Thanks for the help.

i think you are better off buying the lock and the key from nissan because the thing is they program their keys so in order for you to use your trunk key to start your car is not going to work...or opening the door i have a separate key for my trunk when someone tried to open my trunk i had to replace the lock..
