2K clutch problem
I have 44K miles on my 2K SE 5-speed. It is now difficult to start off in first gear, the tranny has a hard time catching, second and third are easier. Also, have a "burnt wire" smell under the hood, in fact you can smell it in the garage as well. Made me wonder if my house was about to burn down or not.
Anyway, I've read other postings in this forum about this issue, seems to me it is the clutch or related component. I have Max scheduled in to the Nissan dealer on Jan. 7. My questions are: 1) Is it OK to drive until Jan. 7, or will I break something else by continuing to drive? and 2) Any estimates on how much this might cost to fix, assuming it is a clutch replacement?
Thanks!

It doesn't appear to slip once I'm in gear, but I do notice a little chattering even when shifting to 2/3, with first being the worst. So what does a clutch replacement cost?
Thanks for the help....
