I heard there's a problem with removing the stock headers.

But if they were, you'd be saving a whopping $4 off the list price...

Check this out. This is why I'm sometimes jealous of Honda/Acura owners.

Can you image adding 100hp at the crank! For us it would be 345+ hp, in a Max!? That would be tight. OK, I'm daydreaming.

The reason those work is because the Honda/Acura exhuasts suck stock. There have been a number of threads here(usually involving Russ) that showed the difference.

Nissan exhausts probably would not yield the same increase.

Yeah, but for $5000.00 and the cost of a new CL-S 6spd... wouldn't you considering something RWD?? That's a ridiculous amt of pwr to a front wheel driven car...

sooo...sucks to be a 2k2+? we (early 5th gen) are lucky because of the 4th gen guys. Stillen did a lot of R&D on them and pumped out a lot of products. some 4th gens are pushing out 360 TO THE WHEEL......(turbo) Kevin compared my 2k with a 2k2 from last Nor-cal maxima meet....seems adding a turbo to a manual 2k2+ maxima is possible.

with 100 shots of nitrous and JWT ecu (if they make one) on a 2k2.....you will be in the 300 whp club.

how come they only have 54 - 57 whp with an SC.....prob. because of the stock exhaust.

yah..that sucks, only 54-57hp to wheels?!....SCed maximas get around 80-90 to wheels. put a TT on a 2k2 manual like kev said...it will smoke the SC CL-S manual.
