Silverstars

Anybody know where I can pick up the Silverstar headlights in or around Toronto? Best Prices? I am also Interested in the PIAA Xrteme White H3 fogs so same question goes. I wouldn't be adverse to buying them online if there is somewhere that will ship them cheap. Also I am curious why the Sylvania website shows Part #9003st...I thought my 2k1 max used H4 bulbs in the headlights not 9003???

Try a local auto parts store or optauto.com for the fog lights. Thats where I get all my lighting from.

I did find the foglights there but I couldn't find any sylvania products for the heads...I went to both Canadian Tire & Wal-Mart today but couldn't find them either. Cdn Tire said that they can't even order the silverstars even though they carry sylvania products and had the "cool blue" lights in stock.

Bought some Silverstars for my nephewqs 3Rd Gen Max at www.autozone.com They're the next best thing to PIAAS's. I can almost guarantee that you'll wind up paying more for the PIAA fogs than for the Silverstar heads. Have you considered just doing the PIAA heads and later doing the fogs? Just a thought.

I have actually thought of that...Are the PIAA heads that much better than the Silverstars? Do they require a different harness? Anybody have any good H3 suggesstions that are more on par with Silverstar pricing than the PIAA H3's?

I love my PIAA's, this is the second car that I have had them on. The only setback that I do find id the price. Got them installed at a local speed shop here in town. $80 including installation. Not trying to flame others with less expensive lights but, it's come to my attention that most of the less expensive bulbs blow out often, sometimes in less than six months. So if you're looking at replacing them more than once, why not replace them just once with a high quality set and get it over with? To my knowledge PIAA's do not require a different harness. If you still want to only spend $40-50 for a set of bulbs instead of the PIAA's, I'll have my nephew come over and have him park his car side by side with mine to give you a more acurrate answer. I hope that I've helped clarify things for you and not given you the impression of flaming, which I don't intend to anyhow. Feel free to PM me if you have further questions.

PIAAs don't seem to be all that great. The other day, one of my Super Plasma GT headlight bulbs went out. I had them for less than 6 months and I paid over $75 for the pair! I did like the color of light that they put out on the road though. My fogs, which are PIAA as well, are still going ok. We'll see how long they last. I was thinking about the silverstarts. Does anyone have pics? Then again, I may just get the Hannabi HID kit.
What kind of PIAA bulbs do you guys have? Xtreme white plus, superplasma, etc?

I don't usually chinz out on anything for my car so I likely will go with the PIAA's..the silverstars just seem appealing because of the reviews (positive mostly) on here and the pricing.

Wise choice. Please post and let us know how you like them. My PIAA's are Xtreme White Bulbs, H4 for the heads, H3 for the fogs. Why don't you start out with the heads and then decide if you even feel that you need the fogs? I honestly think that my heads together with my fogs might be overkill. I have them on AUTO so, as soon as it starts to get dark they come on all of the time. Even though them might be overkill I have gotten used to having them on all of he time.
