Fix for holes in front bumper from license plate frame - PICS
#41
My first Max came with the plate mounted; I took out the screws, painted with touch up and put back in. Looked ok, but the plugs are great. My 2nd max, I caught it before they put the plate on. With my 3rd, my dealer has stopped mounting plates (no front required in TENN), but it was a trade and the trading dealer had put one on. My dealer replaced my front bumper! Yes indeed (Hippodrome in Nashville, by the way). Some cars accomodate a front plate nicely; but on the Max, it definitely appears as an afterthought...not integrated at all. But that is ok 'cause I hate front plates on a car.
Just thought I'd share what my dealer did for me to make it right. Apparently, they now share the same sentiment about mounting plates. The way I see it, if it isn't required by law, then by doing so, they've sold damaged goods. Put those holes anywhere else on the car and it would be a big problem...why do they think they can gouge the front bumper?
