Today when I left work after the car had been sitting for about 3 hours it was acting kind of weird. I was in third gear going about 25 mph and it was kind of jerking and jumping around, as if I was in first gear not working the clutch right or as if I was on and off the gas really abrubtly.

Its happened once before in second or third gear in a parking lot.

Whats going on? Is there something wrong with my car? Is it just because its a little cold?

I have had the fuel cut TSB fixed.

 

I've noticed this also. I just thought it was the car running cold, because once it warms up, it goes away...

Maybe there is something wrong...any thoughts?

 

I've experienced the exact same problem. Happens until car is warm everytime I start it and drive. Seems to do it in the 1800-2000 rpm range to me. Perhaps it's my Max telling me to warm her up before I drive. BTW I drive a 2000 SE 5sp.

 

I drive a 00 SE 5 speed too - perhaps we just shouldn't drive them cold?

 

Well, that's 4 accounts of the same thing...all being 2k or 2k1 5 spd...any ideas what it could be?

 

maybe MAF getting ready to die, or internals of MAF getting dirty ?? my .02
