yea i got the call from the dealer as well, this morning. Had to bring it in anyway for the wheel well. I had just noticed that after the snow, the plastic piece that resides in the rear wheel well was missing.

picking it up tommorrow...hope this one isnt a pos and wont crack into 5 pieces like the old one..

The dealer where I bought the car called me, and I had the new wind deflector installed yesterday.

It is visibly thicker than the old one.

The old one appeared to have been drilled out to use a larger bolt than the new ones. Could that have been the cause of the cracks? I don't know.

The old one had also developed a crack in the center. I'm hopeful that this one will be better.

I can tell you that it stood up to some highway speeds that were above the 65mph speed limit.

Yeah, man. Mine did too. In fact, it's COMPLETELY cracked all the way down the middle. I took mine to the local dealer last weekend and he told me that I have the worst one he has ever seen. Alas, they still didn't have any in. They did have some A/M ones, but of course Nissan wouldn't provide this to me as a warranty covered repair. Oh well. I am getting tired of looking at it. It's the only blemish on my otherwise flawless car.

Got mine the other day at Sullivan Brothers Nissan in Kingston Mass.
Would you believe they still tried to charge me $72 for a new one?
They tried to play stupid when I told them they are replacing the
old deflector at no charge because it was defective.
