Brake Light Help

The Brake Light in my dash stays on during cold weather. The parking break disengages and the car is able to drive, but the light is rather annoying at night.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this or where I can take it (besides Nissan).
Thanks

Any brake shop that will do a free brake inspection is a good place to start. Have them look at the parking brake. Most likely, it'll just need some adjusting so that the computer realizes that the brake is no longer engauged. They can do it for you, or if you are mechanically inclined, find someone on the org with a FSM (or a Haynes book will do too) and adjust it yourself.

The light will come on whenever there is a problem with the braking system. You can also go to AutoZone and see if the computer is throwing any codes. If it is, they can reset them for you.

Good luck.

check your brake fluid, low fluid will throw the light on
