Almost Had My HID's Stolen
I was at my future brother inlaws house last night (Newark) watching the SUPER BOWL, when suddenly my girlfriend yells, BABE! BABE!!.....LOOK THEY ARE TRYING TO STEEL YOUR LIGHTS!!!! We all jumped off the couch and looked out the window and seen four brotha's in a Cherokee Jeep and one pushing down on the bumper. My alarm started to sound and we all ran out the house and they fleeded the scene. I inspected the car and found no damage.
I guess I got lucky this time...

What color Cheeroke?
About 2 months ago, I was around the Newark area with my parents in their Cheeroke and we were away form the vehicle, then people say that another Cheeroke pulled up and jack our one.

03BlkSETE - I don't think there's anything innapropriate about my post. Trying to keep heads up in the Newark area with a description of the thugs is not a bad thing. Or is it?

ok ok... I don't see 'brother' being used in a derogatory context. At least to me, 'brother' isn't a negative thing. Then again, being white excludes me from judging if its an offensive term or not. If anyone is offended, its not my place to challenge it, if you are just let me know and I'll take care of things.

I see nothing wrong with the post or the thread. If four black guys tried to jack your hids then 4 black guys tried to jack your hids that. That simple! Saying brothers was just being cool about it. Either way more descriptions and the vehicle info was good too.

Don't think because someone is black it excludes them from being called black. I don't think policical correctness has any place when people are commiting a crime. Seriously, what would you have said if the guys were driving off with your HIDs and the cop asked for a description?

Yea, I think that of all the words he could have chosen this one was on the nice side. Trust me, being Irish we hate (and have a word) for every race / color / religion. Now if it was 4 Irish guys trying to jack my HIDs, I would be all "4 drunken MICs are stealing my Xenons!"
