Someone have FSTB - windshield washer fix?

Sorry, searches didn't deliver details on how to fix the windshield washer problem (weak pressure) with the BOMZ FSTB on a 2k2/2k3. Since I'm apparently an idiot and can't fix this simple problem , can someone please post DETAILS on how you moved the hose etc.?

Thx!

I just removed the hose from the left nozzle, pulled it out from underneath the hood insulation and reconnected it. It works now.

Just curious - is the Bomz FTSB the only one that causes this problem on the 2k2 or 2k3? I have one that I never got a chance to install. I really don't feel like dealing w/ this issue.

Is there one out there that fits better w/o ANY hassle? My car is a lease so I really don't feel like messing with anything.

Thanks..........

Mine is a courtesy one. The FTSB pinches the hose as it runs under the insulation in the hood. Just reroute the hose and everything will be fine.

Exactly what he said. I had this problem and simply moved the hose around until it worked again.

Is it possible to move it and still keep it under the hood insulation? Or do you have to have it exposed?

I have Stillen FSTB and I didn't do anything to my widshield washers. They work fine.

Yea, but isn't that one about $150 more than the Bomz?

I've seen one on eBay that looks almost exactly like the Stillen one for about $45 or so. The only problem is that it's sold by "procarparts" and their customer service sucks a$$. I got burned by them a while ago so I refuse to do business with them.

I'm wondering if the generic looking ones (tubular) will fit better than the Bomz.

So you have the Stillen on a 2k2 and have zero problems? It's a lot more expensive, but in terms of the car price it might be worth it...

How was the install - just as easy as you'd expect?

I have test fitted the FSTB from CustomMaxima.com and that was almost four months ago. The only fitment issue was with the bar hitting the top of the manifold. They marked the bar where it was hitting and they said that they were going to make a little notch in that part of the bar. No fitment issues with the washers.

I'm still waiting for them to send me one...
