Factory Service Manual for a Y2K .. questions

I think I want to invest in one of these ... but .. I'm not sure what this is

Correct me if I'm wrong .. but will the FSM include information on the following short list (among other things):

1. Labour hours Nissan will charge for a particular repair?

2. Specs on how tight I should torque back the bolts on my flywheel?

3. Detailed diagrams of the inner workings of my car?

Next ... where can I get one in hardcopy & electronic format?

Ciao!

Few people online have it. I guess you buy it from a dealer or find someone who is willing to make a copy for you

ms.thickness has the hookup. contact her. they sell it for ~$80 but the PDFs are locked with a key on a floppy. ms.t has the full acrobat and can tell you how to resave them so they wont be gone should you need to reformat your drive or something.

FYI...most of the main components on 99 are the same as 00, and 01. That's why the Haynes manual works. I have the Haynes and the Nissan ESM. I use them in conjunction with one another and it's been the best investment I've made in the car.

She's got the hook up on damned near everything. She probably has as much Maxima knowledge as anyone on the org.

I am glad that I have the full version of adobe....I tried to install turbotax 2002 on friday and the blue screen of death visited me. It corrupted SOOO many friggin files it wasn't even funny

unfortunatly in order to use my trusty laptop again I had to reformat my harddrive which means that I lost ALL of my files

and if I had not changed the security levels on the esm and burnt it to a disk....I would be out 90 bucks

so If you DO buy an esm...make sure that you also have a full version of adobe acrobat (yes the one that cost like $300 bucks)

cause if you ever have a computer problem.....it's gone and you just wasted a whole bunch of money....espcially if you bought it from nissan

which of course would suck!!!

mine works does yours
