So how big a problem is radial pull?

Finally figured out the problem with my car pulling - it's radial pull from one of the tires. Flipped the two front tires, and voila - no more pull.

But...does that actually fix the problem, or does the tire need to be replaced? Radial pull is supposedly caused by one of the steel belts being out of line - is pulling the only problem, or is this tire going to fly to pieces one day at 140?

Radial pulls are really rare. It could just be an unevenly worn tire. Whatever the case, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
