Paid $140 from Husker High Performance. Looks great. Almost looks like it could be stock but the polished looks gives it away (as well as the sound). Its model #14830. I also have a Random Tech Cat and a 2.5" B-pipe from WarpSpeed.

Is there any drone? How loud is it at cruising speeds? What size are those tips? Finally, any more pictures from further back? Looks awesome and sounds awesome, thinking about getting one very soon.

I'll try to take some pictures from futher back tonight. There really isn't a drone but at 2200-2600 rpm's at part throttle it's the loudest. Will be too loud for some at this RPM range. The higher you rev the motor the smoother and quieter it gets. If you get a B-pipe definitely get a resonator.

With only 7 inch length I'm not surprised it's a bit loud. Can you e-mail me the sound clip? Your server is overloaded.

ditto... mgroup@tampabay.rr.com

I imagine the 3.5 will sound a little meaner than the 3.0.

Thanks for the clip!!! Whoa, sounds WAY too loud for what I want but still, that VQ motor is sweet sounding. MUCH better than the old VG30 in the 4th gen I used to have. No matter what I did with the exhaust it still sounded raspy and not very good.

Sounds very nice, but my setup on my 4th Gen VQ30DE honestly sounds quite a bit more "domestic". I have a WSP Y --> Stock cat --> 2.5" b w/20" glasspack resonator --> flowmasters 80 series (2 chambered) camaro muffler with dual pipes out each end of the bumper. Granted, your's naturally is a bit deeper, but mine sounds more rumbly and raw. I would love to hear your car with a flowmasters 40/80 series muffler instead of that Magnaflow, I bet it would sound A LOT more "domestic". (Rumbly, Raw, no monotone bluuuur)

Now that i've added the SC, when I revv above 2800 it's even deeper. But the tone is unchanged under that.

I have the exact same muffler and love it about 85% of the time. It's way too loud at about 2000-2500rpms. The wife thinks its too loud but it's my car not hers so too bad. I also have a few pics on my homepage but couldn't get good ones because of the snow up here in Mass.
