Injen Intake?

So I am a No One

J/K Injen is awesome for daily driving. This is just my opinion and there are 4 major intakes to choose from:
Injen (CAI (sort of))
Place Racing (true CAI)
Frankencar (WAI)
Firm Fabrications (WAI)

I am Very Pleased with my Injen and would highly recommend it. Someone posted some vids of some Maxes racing but I don't know what happened to them.

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE my Injen intake. The guys that have them are here... we're just not as vocal as the Frankencar crowd!

I love my Injen intake too. Here's the deal....the Frankencar intake probably has better top end than the Injen, but the Injen probably has better low and midrange. The midrange on my car is phenomenal. Pulls very hard around 3500 RPM...like you'd expect from a V8. The Frankencar is shorter so probably make more hp up top.

Injen here too. I love it! Hear it every day. hehehe
I have the original filter but may go Apexi when it's time to change it out (I won't re-oil it).

So far, no MAF problems.

Yeah, still running my stock filter. No MAF problems at all.
My only complaint is the heat soaking that I experienced in the summer. Really slowed the car down. I'm going to wrap my intake with DEI header tape and grab an apex'i filter.

Hey, when have you guys been cleaning your filters? I've put close to 15k on mine and it's probably due...but winter is so messy, I might just wait for the new filter come spring.

I am looking at the Injen intake but noticed on the INJEN web site the instructions dont show my Auto Dip Stick on the intall instructions. Is this only for the Manual trany the auto dipstick is mounted in the spot that the washer and nut are supposed to go to mount the injen? need help before I spend 280.00

i had injen on my 2000 maxima but then i removed it for 2 reasons:
1. afraid of sucking water in
2. it didn't make any sound ( i had 98 maxima before and i can't forget the sound it was making.....)

I hate old threads.

Get a JWT POP/Stillen POP, it’s cheaper, proven, and therefore better.

i may get flamed but i think a CAI is a CAI no matter the brand, i've never seen a dynoed difference in an injen vs an ebay, a friend had a short ram and saw .2sec difference in the 1/4 with an Injen CAI, and the same for me with Ebay CAI, even if theres a .001 difference thats not worth an extra $240 i personally think it's more so for bragging rights... my 2¢

removes the "accordion" piece that restricts air flow and disrupts the smooth flow of the lower amount of air

so what makes it a CAI? the name? or the fact that it pulls cold air?

btw, its the second, and injen doesnt pull any colder air than a berk
