I need some honest opinions about WAIs

With all this drama over the MAFs, should I even consider buying a WAI? My car is brand new 2K2 SE leftover...it has 1500 miles on it and I don't want to f**k it up. I don't spend hours working on my car due to my lifestyle (I go to work at 5:30 am and get home at 6:30 pm every day) so my time on the weekends is limited. Last weekend I installed a BOMBZ FSTB and it worked out great. Next will be the RASB and maybe a WAI or CAI. But...should I go for it or forget about it? I don't have time to bring the car back if I fry the MAF.

Thanks

If you're worried about it you can either not install an intake, or try and get a hold of a 2k-2k1 MAF sensor and then install your intake and you should be okay.

I've never had trouble with the MAF and I've had a Frankencar intake for almost a year now.
