*Need Some Opinions On This Wheel....*

I'm thinking about upgrading my wheels in the springtime/summertime. I've selected this particular wheel as my choice. Need some opinions.

-SPECS-
-RACING HART GT5
-Gunmetal
-Available sizes:18x7.5 or 19.7.5
-Available offsets: ????
My suspension is going to be done up also, consisting of:
-KYB AGX struts
-PROGRESS Sport Springs
-CATTMAN fstb
-CATTMAN-PROGRESS rsb
Would this wheel look straight on a 2003 Sheer Silver maxima???
With my car being lowered in the future what size rim would be a good choice???
Can anyone photoshop these wheels on a sheer silver maxima???

How about with 19's??? Would rubbing be a factor with either 18's or 19's since my car is going to be lowered in the future???

i dont think that rim is bling bling....usually bling bling is chrome or 20"'s...in fact 19's would look awesome for the maxima. GO WITH YER GUT FEELING...

oh and as for rubbing...i have 20x8.5 and my car is lowered ala Maxspeed springs with no rubbing at all. So 19x7.5 should be no problem...

Thanks bigh. I'm leaning torwards the 19's *maybe* still deciding on what size rim to run with my future suspension set-up. My fronts are going to lowered 1.7 and the rears 1.5 (give or take if they settle a lil bit more than as suggested)....

No problem, but I think 19's would be no problem. My maxspeeds have settled and I can honestly say no rubbing at all...I was amazed. here is my set up just to give you an idea
20 x 8.5
245/35/20
Maxspeed drop around 1.7"

19 X 7.5 is a Ricer width. That is hideous for a Max. It will look like you are riding on bicycle wheels. My , VERY POPULAR , Evos are 19 X 8.5

Looks like a Volk GT-C copy. Would look real nice on a Sheer Silver car. The polished lip makes it pop.

I gotta agree with kloogy on this one. Shouldn't go less than a 8 inch rim. Other than that I love that style, looks just like a GT-C.

Thanks for your input kloogy. I'm gonna find out if Racing Hart makes them in a 8 or 8.5 width. If not,Looks like I'm gonna be searching for another rim set. Thanks everybody for your feedback.

Those are sick. FYI- I have 18 x 7.5 and I like them, although I would have preferred an 8" wide wheel.

Thanks asu174 for your input. Do your rims look like bicycle wheels??? I'm going to be running the same shock/spring combo you have. Should rubbing be a factor???

By the way, the stock wheels are 16 x 6.5 and 17 x 7. I definitely wouldn't want a 19 x 7.5, but 18 x 7.5"s look good.

Just remember that your tire options are far more limited with a 7.5" wheel than an 8".

Name one manufacturer that doesn't make a 225 40 18.

Sure, most (if not all) manufacturers make the size, but very few of them meet the load rating of the OEM tires. If you don't care, then you've got a ton of options. Otherwise, you WILL be limited.

Then again, if I didn't care about the load rating, I probably wouldn't be bothered by running out of spec sizes, either. I see my tires as the single most important part on my car, and I buy accordingly.
