I have been installing my SC for the last 4 days and I left the negitive terminal off of my battery...just in case.
Know my car won't start. It crankes over. I am getting fuel (I can smell it) put it won't start.
So I call the dealer and they tell me that if the battery is disconnected for that long that the computer can unlearn the key code.
So I call a wrecker...flatbed (oh that was fun with my ground effects), but that's a whole other story. It gets reprogrammed in the morning

Has anyone else had that happen to them?

Aint entirely true. When I had the s/c I had the battery out for over 1week. Still started it after 9 days. Something else is wrong.

If you are smelling fuel, then I would say something else is wrong. Make sure the TPS sensor is connected. I dont know what else you couldve disconnected.

I just got it back from the dealer. It was the cam sensor wired pinched behind the SC mounting plate. I loosened the plate, moved the wire and it started right up.

 

I was right Big Daddy, i was right. I knew it had to be that.

I have another question. Someone told me that I needed a "SARD" to control fuel when not under boost. What do you know about that. Is is true? Do I need it?

 

Dont think so. The rising pressure FPR should control how much fuel is needed.

I pinched a wire one too. It was cuz of the screws on the frickin bracket.
