SES and intake

I put a frankencar intake on my 2k max about a month ago. I noticed lots of power at first but now it has seemed to diminsh, am i just getting used to the power increase? Also the check engine light came on about 3 to 4 weeks after install, i just unhooked the battery for a while and it left. Now the light came on again, do you think it is my MAF fouling? The light only comes on when my mom drives, she drives REALLLY slow. I drive really aggressive. One more ? Will the manual shift on an auto still work if i have the tsb problem? Thanks

Yet, another statistic due to "NISSAN'S CRAPY MAFS"...
Will there ever be a solution to this on-going problem???
