yes! And if the dealer refuses to do the swap, go to the junk yard and get some old tires and put them on before you trade in the car. Those michelins are like gold. I went to Sears over the weekend and bought the Falkens 512 on sale for $112. Regular price was about $174. They'll be on sale until Mar 29.
how do you like those Falkens? Are they noisy? what size did you get?
thanks

I don't have'em on yet. Although Sears has them on sale, they didn't have my size (225/50/17) in stock so I pre-paid for them. They told that it takes between 5 to 7 working days to get'em. I'll let you know when I put'em on.

18" Evo5's coming next, with ES100's. I'd love the S-03's, but I can't afford a $185 10k mile tire. I'll let you guys know about the AVS's once they're on the car next month.
Almost everyone here recommended the Michelin Pilot Sports but I had such poor results from my previous experience of using the Michelin brand tires. They performed flawless at the beginning but after awhile, about halfway tread mark, the performance degraded noticeably.

I've heard lots of good things about the Michelin Pilot Sports, but quite a few people have complained about tire noise with them... For such an expensive tire I'd expect a little more... Falken 512's I hear are nice and cheaper... I'm looking at Falken 451's myself... They are uniseason unlike the 512s and are supposed to be gripier and quiter... plus only $15 more per tire i think its worth it...
