I pulled my RE92's off a month after I got the car - put on Pilot Sport A/S. I got 28K on them before they got hard, too - they never hydroplaned, but turning in the wet got to be a little nerve-wracking the last couple thousand miles.
18" Evo5's coming next, with ES100's. I'd love the S-03's, but I can't afford a $185 10k mile tire. I'll let you guys know about the AVS's once they're on the car next month.

I've heard lots of good things about the Michelin Pilot Sports, but quite a few people have complained about tire noise with them... For such an expensive tire I'd expect a little more... Falken 512's I hear are nice and cheaper... I'm looking at Falken 451's myself... They are uniseason unlike the 512s and are supposed to be gripier and quiter... plus only $15 more per tire i think its worth it...
