Need some advice...

Last night, I turned OFF my car and heard some strange noise (sounds like the motor of an antenna extending except there's no antenna's in the car) coming from the front. I've heard it before but it usually stops after 5 seconds. This time it just kept cycling non-stop. I was afraid the battery would die by morning so I disconnected it... the sound stopped. Early this morning I reconnected the battery and the sound came back on. I took it over to the nissan dealer but they said I had to come back on Monday morning since I didn't have an appt. So I brought it over to the local garage. They used a stethoscope to locate the sound which was a sensor under the front motor mount located under the radiator support. They had looked it up on their computers to see what sensor that is, but nothing came up. They told me to bring it to nissan dealer and they should know.

In any case, the car still runs fine except for that sound. I have to wait until Monday to see what they can do about it, and I'm hoping that it would be covered under warranty. Ok, so my questions... I should disconnect my battery when I'm not using it? and does anyone here know what that sensor is? Can I still drive around this weekend?

Thanks!

This is probably my problem...

This means it's covered under warranty right?

Thanks!
