Installed powerslot rotors, got a ?

Just installed front and rear powerslot rotors with axis pads and new motul brake fluid. The car does NOT have the bite it used to have, the mechanic said it would take a week or two for some reason to regain. Its definately not in my head, the car does not stop as hard as it used to with warped rotors. Does this sound right for people with aftermarket rotors?

FYI it is smooth as ever tho, no more warped rotors

Just make sure you break in those new pads and rotors and you'll regain that bite after a week or two of normal driving.
