JIC problems....once again....grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ok, I spent a lot of money to get the best suspension that money can buy, and I had to send the rears off to get rebuilt because they were defective. Every since I have had them installed my cd player skips at 45mph and up. Why am I the only one who has these problems? is anyone else with this set up experiencing my problems?

Skiping witha harder suspension is common, thats not a coilover faulted problem.

Are you the dude with the noises and all? If so did you get that worked out?

Yes that is me, and I kinda have it worked out. I am currently riding on JIC's in the front and stock in the rear.

Here is the whole story

This problem was here even when I had JIC's all the way around. I understand that harder suspension will cause skipping, but why has no one else with the JIC setup had any problems?, and will an aftermarket CD player solve this problem

An aftermarket unit may or may not , really it comes down to how well it's mounted/ isolated from vibration. I don't know why everybody else has not had problems but like you i'd really like to know why, I hope it's just an install thing.

Turbo95Max found a bad rear strut. One of them wouldn't come back up when compressed.

Sorry to hear that this problem hasn't been resolved yet, but my guess would be that the harder suspension and the poor build quality of the Bose head unit (from what I hear anyway) is resulting in just a bad luck situation. An aftermarket head unit may help, but only if it has a better mechanical bump isolation system. I hope everything gets sorted out for you.
