Nissan's view on the ever so popular HID situation

Has anyone heard from there local Nissan dealer/Service center on what there views are on this? Does Nissan have some sort of recall to try and help this problem from occurring? Just wondering.

I know alot of us out there have fallen victim to those wonderful a**holes

yes, someone posted a while ago nissan's official answer... "the lights are operating correctly and they make an anti-theft kit if you're worried" or something like that... search and you'll find it.
