Hi folks,

Just wondering if someone could take a moment and check to see what size/type bulbs are fitted into the OEM 2002/2003 HID assemblies (or if someone knows this offhand it would be even easier).

The reason I ask is that I'm going to likely order the headlight assemblies themselves, do some splicing as per the regular conversion, and then install some aftermarket conversion kit HID's in there (bi-xenons maybe, if I can get a conversion kit for the hi-beam socket type)...

There's no other solution really, they rarely come up for sale on the forums (when they do I'm too slow and end up being 3rd in line), ebay is filled with fraud (there's some guy offering to sell me some for $550 w/harness, but wtf is he?), and dealerships will bone you for an arm and a leg. I wish I had never sold mine to KPazzo6 (no offence lol)

I recall Tustin Nissan or some other dealer posting on here that the assemblies were like $200/each without any wires/ballasts/etc... so all I'd need to do is plug in the bulbs and I'd be good to go...

Thanks guys... maybe I'll have the first bi-xenon Maxima hehe. And if I have the guts to use a heat gun and take them apart... maybe it'll be even more
