Just got my 2k2 SE, 6speed--- some questions..
First of all, I friggin' love the car. I don't what else to say. Driving home on the interstate was awesome. This is probably the smoothest manual transmission and engine I have ever driven.
I have some questions that I haven't seemed to find an answer.
When I put the car into reverse, the trim on the shift boot has a tendency to pop out. anyone else with this problem?
I know that the bose sub in the rear has an amp to power it, but what about the front components, and rear speakers? Or are they powered by the HU?

You could try doing a search on this subject if you would like more info.
My boot trim did that too on my '03!!!
It was buttoned on too high. It was well over the reverse ring you pull up.
It needs to be just below the depression on that ring where you grab it. There's actually an area just below that where it bottons on.

grey lustre w/black leather interior, bose, sunroof, 6-speed of course. I'm really glad I got the 6-speed too, I was a little skeptical at 1st because I do a lot of driving but I had no idea it would be as smooth as it is. Also I have driven many maxima rentals at work and I wanted something that would be different.. darker color, leather, MT.. something original.

Sorry I'm not quite sure what you mean to fix it. Could you elaborate a little bit? thanks.
