Off the top of my head I cant remember, but if any1 knows if the filter for the VQ35 and the VQ30 are the same then the answer is
M1-110. I can give u a 100% answer by tomorrow.

This was discussed last week in a posting by myself. According to the responses, M1-110 is the corretc size for our Maxima (2K2), but the M1-105 DOES fit...and provides the largest diameter Mobil 1 oil filter for our car. I will be performing an oil change soon and will be using Mobil1 full-synthetic and the M1-105 filter.

I have to say SO to the VQ30

FYI...

Unless I spent fifteen minutes under my car for NOTHING, the 105 does NOT fit the Vq30DE. It had a clearance problem with the engine block flange that the oil pan mounted to...too close to properly screw in the filter

WOW...I bought the M1-105 based on replys form my previous post. Guess I'll buy the M1-110 as a back-up in case the M1-105 doesn't fit.

Well u guys can use whatever # filter u want, but im still gonna use M1-110. I dont care that the 105 is slightly bigger or if it will or will not fit. Its a mobil1 filter so its good for a good 5K miles. I change my oil every 5K anyway. I know the oil analysis charts say I might be able to go longer then that on Mobil super-syn. But 5K is enough for me. M1-110 is the correct size and I dont belive a larger one will offer much improvment, it just holds more oil to me.

M1-104 will also fit VQ35DE. (larger diameter than 110 smaller than 105).

If this is true, one might want to be careful trying to run 105 and VQ30DE w/o a backup in case of fitment issues.

I checked this out myself last week and the 105 is CONSIDERABLY larger in diameter. So large I decided to get the 110 myself.
