Radio Replacement Instructions

I have a 2000 GXE and am going to replace my factory single DIN AM/FM/Cassette with a factory double DIN unit that has a CD & CD changer. Does anyone know of an online set of instructions ? I looked around and found them for other years but am not sure how close they are to 2000. Does anyone know where I can find any ?

How to install a radio in 2000 Max.

It's not hard at all. Just get the wiring harness that plugs into the factory wires from an audio store or where ever. It's pretty simple to remove radio just pull the thing that covers the radio and it just unsnaps. Then the bottom middle part around the shifter pulls up also. Be sure to pull from the very bottom and you may have to shift out of Park to remove it. With the wiring harness you can make your butt connections in your living room. Take your new factory harness and your new radio harness and basically hook color to color. Check to be sure. One thing is to be sure to hook up your power antena wire to remote turn on. When I changed my radio I never hooked this up and I got a crappy reception. I looked on the .org and found this out. You might say that there is no antenna yet alone a power antenna. The antenna needs a power turn on source to switch it on. It's a little different if hooking an amp up also. Any other ?'s feel free to ask.
