Cattman Intake

I was thinking of investing in the cattman cold air intake for my max I have an '03 GLE and wanted to know how the cattman cold air intake holds up to others..help would be much appreciated

It's probably that exact same thing as the Place racing CAI. Try searching for that and you'll get some answers.

it is exactly the same as the Place Racing CAI... i dont recall hearing anything negative about that intake. probably a good way to go if you want a TRUE cold air intake...

I think a Short Ram intake yields better top end gains than the PR CAI

thanx for all the replies, I heard you have to cut a hole in ur car for installation of this intake is that true...and if it is, is there anyway around that?

And CAI's give more low end torque over the short rams.

Yes you do have to cut a hole in your fender. The only way around that is to not buy it and/or buy the Injen CAI which requires no drilling.
