Anybody know if I can buy these painted to match my color of car?Or do I have to settle for black?I was able to find them in black at the dealer for 80 dollars for the set.I was hoping to buy them already painted to match.Thamks

I was told that the painted ones would fit. I think the 2K1 had painted splash guards and they will also fit the 2K. At least that's what I was told.

Yes, you are right...there are ones that came out in 2k1 that were pre-painted that will fit the 2k1 and 2k.

Right. The painted ones came out for the 2k1 toward the end of 2000 or January 2001. Make sure you specify which ones when you buy from the dealer. I bought them for my white Max. See my homepage to see how they look.

I bought mine from someone on here for $60 shipped. I put them on yesterday because it was soo nice out. They look a lot better than the flat black ones I had. Waxed the car too. (even the calipers) Max is lookin mighty fine.

I'm assuming you had to drill out the 2 dimples in the back for the rear guards? Did the splash guards in the rear line up perfectly with the drilled out holes from the dimples?

You assumed wrong. I simply took the old ones off and put the new painted ones on. My car originally came with the flat black splash gaurds. I just bought the painted ones to make the car look a little better.
