Grille - Tech Main Grille Pics ! Just Installed !

I just put on the new Grille Tech main grille that they sent me. It has been cut out a little different than the one my brother Anskyruben has on his. It sticks out a bit further. It still is a flat grille. I used Black vinyl tape to black out the white pillar that comes down the middle of the 2k2. I also went and bought an adhesive Nissan logo at my local dealer. Here are the pics, tell me what you think. I personally like it, and am leaving it on for the time being.... You will have to contact Chris @ www.Grille-tech.com to find out the pricing.

Its alright, If it stuck out alittle more it would look nicer. The grill on the 2k2 I personally wouldnt change but, everyone has their own taste.

Not bad. I am not completely feeling it, but I think it will grow on me.

If it's more than 3 months old, they won't do anything. I contacted them about my 5 month old rusted ones. They recommend waxing them and using WD-40 to keep them from rusting. I'll repaint them this spring and see if they hold up any better.

WD40 is rediculous. That is not a solution. They need to cut it out of aluminum. Even if you paint it, it is only a matter of 6months before Acid rain and Salt kills your work.

Well, if that happens after I paint them, I'll probably just go without...unless I can take the rubber type edging off the Grille-Tech ones and put it on some Home Depot aluminum.

Yeah, I thought the WD-40 thing was pretty wierd.

I got the same problem. I got the silver-toned ones and they look like their rusting. Wonder if I should have ordered the black painted ones??
I might wait till spring and try to paint them black using some spray paint--- at least it won't be so noticeable. I'm pretty disappointed since they weren't particularly cheap!

Does anyone have the black painted ones from GrilleTech? Are there problems with the paint chipping?
Anyone else know of another company who makes something better?
Thanks.
