trunk ratling

I got some kick as sux but my rear deck seems to rattle a lot. I fully dynamated my trunk but it still seems to rattle. Especially the deck, now I was told I can't dynamat the deck since it's cardboard material it will still pop up and down any other suggestionS?

You can use the carpet padding for the task. Was the weather cold when you experience the rattles? My rear deck was annoyingly rattled a couple of weeks ago...and I later found out the cause, which was the sheet of ice forming behind the rear trunk lid.

I, as well as many others, have had luck using a foam mattress pad (egg crates). You can pick up a twin size for about $10 at Wal*Mart or K-Mart. ( Leave off the last "s" for savings! ) Just cut it to size and use some 3M spray glue to keep it in place while you are installing. Got rid of all my rear deck rattles. And if you haven't already done it, remove the Bose sub off of the rear deck...will give a nice bass port and a with real subs that thing is useless.
