I just went by Discount tire and checked on tires for my max. I am comparing a couple of tires.

1. Kumho Ecsta MX $135(Discount guy recommended them, but said that they might be a little noisy and not real long tread life)

2. Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 $141(Said they were good tires, but not as agressive as the Ecsta MX)

3. BF Goodwrench KDWS $149 (Good all season tire, but not as good of a handling tire)

Any experience with these tires? Especially interested in the Kuhmo MXs since they are so new.

I have the KWDS....they are a great all around tire.

As for the MX's if you dont live in an area that has snow, get them. Grassroot's motorsports had a comparo a while back and those tires did suprisingly well against some of the most expensive tires available.

 

Don't get the Kumhos.
I got a set for my 300ZX and they were crap. I would not recommend Kumhos to anyone.
