Handling
Handling
Since search is disabled... I have a problem - every time I go in turn with small bumps car seems to loose traction completely and skid a little out of turn. Feels like it makes series of small side jumps. I suspect that my shocks are at fault and outer wheels don't come back to ground fast enough after each bump. Can it be improved by replacing shocks without sacrificing much of the ride quality? I do like my ride in long highway trips and Toronto road service doesn't do good job in fixing potholes around. In particular: does anybody have experience with Monroe shocks on stock springs?

ARRRGHHH!!!!! Leave Monroes alone!
For real bro... For Maximas, from what I experience, KYBs are the s.hit.
The answer to your question is Tokico Blues and H & R springs. Pricey upgrade, but fantastic ride/performance. It's definately the best of both worlds. KYB's are harsh, but they will definately bite the ground more.
The major part of your problem is you have a solid rear axel. If you want to get rid of that feel when going over bumps in a corner you will need a new car. Get all the suspension you want it's not going to make much of a difference.
